How To Help Us

Our work relies on the generosity of Friends and sponsors who support our events

The Foundation encourages local people, businesses and organisations to take an active interest in the Crichton Campus and to help us achieve our charitable aims and objectives.

How to help us – by donating a single gift, a regular gift, by subscribing to our Friends scheme or by becoming a Member of the company. You can also support us through our events, by joining our mailing list, by donating a raffle or auction prize or through sponsorship or advertising.

Friends of the Foundation

By subscribing to our Friends scheme you will receive:

  • An opportunity for priority booking at fundraising events
  • A copy of the Annual report
  • An invitation to the AGM to discuss the work of the Foundation
  • An invitation to the Elizabeth Crichton Founder’s Day Lunch and Henry Duncan Lecture

Joint Friend

£210 per annum

Individual Friend

£120 per annum

Associate Friend

£60 per annum

To subscribe as a Friend of the Foundation please read the Information letter then complete the Friends application form. We would be most grateful if you would also complete the Standing order mandate and consider completing the Gift Aid Declaration. If you require any additional information about becoming a Friend of the Foundation then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Friends of the Foundation are recognised and listed in the Annual Report unless you notify us that you wish to remain anonymous.

Membership of Crichton Foundation 

You may also choose to become a Member of Crichton Foundation at no extra charge. This gives you more influence over the management of the Foundation as it entitles you to participate in the nomination and election of Trustees and to vote at the Annual General Meeting. To become a Member of the Company please complete and return the Membership application, please note that all applications for Membership of the Company are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.

Please note all Members of the Foundation will be listed in the Annual Report and other Foundation publications, including the web site.

Single Donations and Bequests 

If you would prefer to make a one-off donation, support a specific project or wish to consider leaving a bequest to the Foundation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
