The Women of Dumfries and Galloway Lunch took place on Friday 20th March 2015. Chairman Vicky Jardine-Paterson was delighted to welcome a record audience of 380 guests. This event remains hugely popular and once again tickets were sold out within a week of going on sale. After a glass of fizz and a two course lunch the speakers were welcomed to the stage. Victoria Stapleton took guests on a fascinating journey starting with her father’s careers advice through the humble beginnings of the Brora name to the New York opening. Dr Brooke Magnanti then regaled guests with the very different story of her journey from postgraduate student to child health scientist via her work as a London call girl.

 

Bonham’s once again provided generous support as the main sponsor. The Foundation offers them its grateful thanks for their support. The many businesses that took advertising within the event programme and donations from businesses and individuals helped to ensure the success of the event which raised in the region of £11,500.
