Crichton Conversation with Professor Lesley Sawers

Most interesting and highly informative talk by Lesley for the opening lecture of the 2017 – 2018 Crichton Conversation series. Lesley encouraged those present to challenge their own beliefs towards inclusion. She reminded the audience that each and every one of us fall into one or more protected categories. Some of the stories and statistics that she shared were startling when you consider the decades of work that has already taken place with regard to Equality and Human Rights. It seems we still have a long way to go.

If you were unable to make it to the lecture you will find a copy of Lesley’s presentation here: Lesley Sawers presentation

The next lecture in the series titled Charity in Scotland: Facing the Perfect Storm? will be delivered by Kenneth Ferguson B.Comm (Hons) CA MSc on Tuesday 7th November 2017. The cost is £5 per person or £17 with supper included.
