Crichton Conversations Lecture Programme

The Crichton Foundation were delighted to welcome back Professor Dame Anne Glover to deliver the first virtual Crichton Conversation. This took place as a webinar on Tuesday 1st December. After the introduction, Dame Anne delivered a most topical lecture on the Value of Evidence. The traditional question and answer session provoked lively debate. With well over thirty attendees, the evening was a great success.

Participants described the event as “relevant for today in so many respects,” “fascinating topic and excellent speaker,” “very interesting and insightful,” “thought provoking” and “one of the best.” One participant commented “a delight to be able to join you from the comfort of my fireside!”

The Crichton Foundation will host another virtual Crichton Conversation, with guest speaker Hamish McRae, on Tuesday 16th February 2021. One of Europe’s most respected economists and foremost speaker on the global future trends in economics, business and society, Hamish will discuss the effects of the pandemic on the economy.

Full details of the event will be published early in the New Year. If you would like to book a place, or to be added to the mailing list for Crichton Conversations, please contact:
